Aravali Silk Dress
Description
Every motif on this dress is painted by hand — not printed, not stamped. Kalamkari artisans use a fine bamboo pen (the kalam) dipped in natural dyes, building each figure stroke by stroke: deities, animals, and courtly scenes drawn across the bodice and skirt like a temple wall unrolled onto silk. No two dresses carry the exact same painting.
The fabric is pure silk, so it carries a soft sheen and falls with weight — not stiff, not clingy. A wine-silk border trims the neckline, cuffs, and asymmetric handkerchief hem, with fine gold thread finishing the yoke seam. Elbow-length sleeves, a V-neck, and a flared silhouette that skims rather than clings.
Made for real bodies. Sizes S to 4XL, cut generously through the shoulders and waist so you're not negotiating with the fit.
