Kalamkari is a resist-and-block printing technique rooted in Srikalahasti, Andhra Pradesh, traditionally used to render floral, animal, and mythological motifs onto cotton by hand. This piece carries that painterly, narrative quality — the fine linework and layered colour are signatures of hand-printing, not a digital repeat.
