Handwoven in Bengal's Jamdani tradition using 100% pure cotton, the Meghdoot is impossibly light and wonderfully soft. The violet-magenta fabric shifts colour in different light — from deep purple to bright pink — the way only handwoven Jamdani can. Scattered across the body: small white geometric butis, each one woven directly into the cloth, not printed on it.

The silhouette is a graceful trapeze with a handkerchief hem — the corners fall lower than the centre, so it moves beautifully as you walk. Sleeveless, easy, and just the right length for a warm Indian day.
