Kalamkari is a resist-and-block printing technique rooted in Srikalahasti, Andhra Pradesh, historically used to render mythological and courtly scenes onto cotton and silk by hand. This piece leans into that narrative tradition — the figurative pallu panel and dense floral fill are signatures of the more elaborate, story-telling side of the craft.
