Shipping, Returns & Exchange Policy

⏱ Important: All exchange and return requests must be raised within 48 hours of delivery. Order cancellations must be requested within 12 hours of placing the order. Requests made after these windows cannot be accepted.

1. Which countries does Uttariya ship to?

We ship to all countries globally. Please note that international orders are not eligible for exchanges or returns under any circumstances.

2. My garment doesn't fit. What can I do?

If the size isn't right, raise a size exchange request within 48 hours of receiving your order. You can:

For orders within India, minor alterations may also be available subject to the product type. Our team will do their best to help. If your requested size is unavailable, we will offer store credit for use on another product.

3. Which products are not eligible for exchange or return?

  • Sale items — all purchases made at a discounted or sale price
  • Stitched blouses — custom-stitched and pre-stitched blouse products
  • International orders — orders shipped outside India

All other products are eligible for exchange, subject to the conditions below.

4. What are the conditions for a valid exchange or return?

To be accepted, the product must be:

  • Unused, unworn, and unwashed
  • Undamaged, with all original labels and tags intact
  • In its original packaging
  • Requested within 48 hours of delivery

5. Can I cancel my order?

COD orders can be cancelled within 12 hours of placing the order by contacting us via email or phone.

Prepaid orders cannot be cancelled once payment has been confirmed.

6. How are returns processed?

Once your return request is approved:

  • A pickup is arranged within 5–7 business days
  • Our courier partner will collect the item from your address
  • The item is inspected by our quality control team upon arrival
  • Once cleared, store credit equal to the purchase value is added to your Uttariya account

Your store credit never expires — it is valid for a lifetime and can be used on any future purchase.

7. Do you offer refunds?

Uttariya does not offer cash refunds. All approved returns are settled as store credit in your Uttariya account, which you can apply at checkout on your next order.

Store credit is issued within 5–7 business days of receiving and validating the returned product. Shipping fees, COD charges, and any gift service fees are non-refundable.

8. I received the wrong product. What do I do?

We're sorry about that. Please fill the Product Exchange Form with your order ID and a note about the wrong item received. We will arrange a pickup and deliver the correct product as soon as possible.

9. I received a damaged or defective product. What do I do?

If your product arrives with a manufacturing defect or visible damage, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order ID and clear photographs of the issue:

Defective or damaged items will be handled on priority — we will offer a replacement or full store credit depending on availability.
